Remembering 2014 and heading into the new school year!

As I am about to start my new 2015 HS Senior marketing campaign, I decided to go back and browse my 2014 seniors. I found myself wondering, where is this image, or that shoot? Well, I still have a few favs missing, but here's a few that may have gotten left out of the blog in 2014. It wasn't that they weren't my favorites, it was surely due to time restraints. I wish I could share every image, but I get very impatient when it comes to uploads!

The last of the 2014 grads…sniff…..sniff….

Just when I thought I'd photographed my last 2014 senior, along comes the opportunity to photograph this amazing gal that I've known since she was just a tiny thing! 

We went to the Elegant Barn in Gilbert for this shoot. It was absolutely adorable! 

And I've said it before, but seriously… another absolutely gorgeous senior who has a super bright future ahead? Amazing!

Downtown….My New Fav!

I recently ventured downtown for another senior shoot. I always get nervous heading into territory I'm not all that used to. I'm so glad I did. There are textures, and colors you just can't find anywhere else in this city. It was a ton of fun!

I post this last one because I know EXACTLY why he was laughing. I was standing on a ledge and asked him, "Are you worried I might fall?" (thinking he'd say no) And his reply? A VERY honest, "YES!" Yea….me too.

Families

I've been so preoccupied with HS school seniors, I've neglected posted some of my wonderful families, and weddings! Here are some of my loyal families I get to photograph! Next I'll post some of those wonderful weddings I've been enjoying!

Downtown….

Last summer we were at my husband's annual retreat when I was chatting with one of the other wives. We were chatting about how big the kids had gotten and she mentioned her oldest was a HS Senior already. My first thought? "What?!? When did she grow up?" My second thought? PORTRAITS! This conversation started a whirlwind year of photographing some very amazing seniors, and as for her daughter? I not only did her portraits, but I did them twice! I got the email a couple months ago that she wanted to do more pics because she had changed and also wanted to do it somewhere that really reflected her personality. Well, my camera loves her, and I do too, so YES! We stepped away from my comfort zone and headed downtown. This was one of my funnest shoots ever!

Thank you Miss S. You have such great ideas and are so great to work with! I cannot wait to see what your future holds!
