This weekend, my family hopped in the car and drove to Tucson for the the Tucson Rodeo. You see, I grew up in North Dakota, around cowboys, horses, bulls, and Wrangler jeans. (Although, you'd never guess it knowing me now...) Anyhoo, my sister still loves the country lifestyle from our childhood. A few years back, she joined an all girl drill team. These ladies are amazing riders! They do routines on horses at full speed that I wouldn't even try walking! I am always proud to see her perform at the rodeos. This year, I took my camera and captured a few moments.
This is my sister and Ceasar (her horse)
Can you imagine? The raw strength of these horses is crazy, not to mention the strength og the riders to stay on!
So... I wanted to get some shots of the bull riders (truly my favorite) but my 4 year old felt it was time to leave the bleachers and go find his Aunt and Ceasar. Maybe next rodeo!
