Watch Out World...Here They Come!

I have at my disposal a ridiculous amount of gorgeous models. I decided to utilize this unique treasure and take some black and whites for an upcoming post card I will use for marketing. Until then, I had to share the beauty! Here are some of the wonderful kids I have the pleasure of photographing!

Siblings!

My recent shoot with two amazing siblings! As much as she is shy and sweet, he is outgoing and funny! Together, they make for an incredible duo! Seriously, I just love these two!

This One's For the Guys

I've said it before, the "guys" have a different energy than the girls before the wedding! As a second shooter, I often get to go with the guys as they get ready. And yes, I am a girly girl and love all the make-up and such of the bride, but I will never complain about being sent off with the guys! It's so easy for them! Shave. Dress. Done. This wedding, that I assisted Mary Sandy of Photos By Mary was one of my "guy" assignments.

This was a gift from Brady's bride.

And the bottle of Yager was a gift from his soon to be Father-in-law!

If Brady was nervous about this day, he didn't show it. Seriously, these guys were all so excited about it all!

And then, I hopped on a golf cart and went away to the ceremony site! There were a few more pics of the guys, but this gives you an idea of what happens before they walk down that aisle. Plus, I wasn't sure if Brady wanted the world to see his fabulous argyle socks!

Playing Catch-up!

It has been a long couple of months, and sadly, my blog got a bit ignored! I thought I should start to catch up, as there were many moments caught in print these last few months, and they deserve to be shared! Here are just a few from a recent wedding I shot with the fab Mary Sandy!

A Rockin Wedding!

Amanda and Tyler got married! Do you recognize this couple? Yes, they were on the blog a couple months back. They had a small ceremony before Amanda joined him for his training. This month, they had another beautiful ceremony and reception for all their family and friends. Both were wonderful!

The day took place at the Rockin R Ranch in Mesa. There were so many wonderful details at this wedding that I may do a separate post about them this summer. I just love this family...I wonder if I could convince them to have a 3rd ceremony just so I can see everyone again? Here's to hoping!

Rachel's blog

So....recently I had the honor of taking Senior Portraits for Miss Rachel. We went to a local golf course  where her family are members. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, I got bit by a tiny bug and still have the mark on my foot! Wait... this blog is about Rachel, not me. Anyway, my camera loved Rachel! Sadly my camera is in the shop right now. Wait! Not about my camera either...Rachel... FOCUS, Misti! So... Rachel was beautiful, funny, at ease with the camera, and super smart. She's off to college in the Fall, but I had the chance to meet her as a High School Senior!

And to finish it off, Photoshop loved Rachel too! Here are some fun things I did during editing!

Thank you to Rachel and her family! We had a great day, and I loved working on these images!

Denise and Andrew

Denise booked me over the phone. No in person meeting. Still, I had a great feeling about this couple. I was so excited to meet them, and was thrilled when I finally did. Her and Andrew were adorable. The ceremony took place at the Secret Garden on a perfect March afternoon.

Andrew's family had a set of wedding bands, handed down each generation. What a cool thought... all that love from generations past entwined in your bands.

Denise was a little nervous about walking down the aisle in front of so many people, but the minute she saw Andrew, her only emotion was pure happiness! He was pretty happy himself!

Thank you to Denise and Andrew and their lovely families! It was a beautiful wedding to capture!
